Choosing the Right Band
Which Better Band should I buy?
Better Bands run on the strong side compared to most bands on the market. If you're only buying one, choose lighter than you think you need. You can always work up.
If you're starting fresh, the Light-Medium and Strong combo covers almost everyone: light for warm-ups, mobility, and physical therapy-style work, strong for actual strength training. And since every Better Band adjusts in length, one band works for a huge range of exercises and body sizes. You're not buying a size. You're buying a range.

Still not sure? Go lighter. A band that's slightly too light can be adjusted and still gets used. A band that's too strong on day one ends up in a drawer or used improperly. You can exchange within 60 days if you land on the wrong one anyway.
What's the difference between Better Band and Better Band Plus?
Same design, same clip, same adjustability. Better Band Plus is slightly longer, built for larger bodies or exercises that need more wrap length. If you're not sure which fits you, Better Band Plus is the safer call as it can adjust tighter to fit most bodies. Going down in length later is a lot easier than needing more length you don't have.
What's the difference between Better Band and Move Bands?
They solve different problems, and most people end up using both.
Better Band clips onto your body. It's the band you wear, for glute, hip, and upper body work where the band moves with you.
Move Bands are large loop bands you anchor to something else, a bar, a doorframe, your own foot, a barbell. They're not worn. They're for pull-up assistance, full-body strength work, deadlifts, and stretching where you need the band anchored, not attached to you.
Simple way to remember it: Better Band stays on you. Move Bands work between you and the bar, the door, or your own foot.
I have knee, hip, or balance issues. Will this work for me?
This is one of the most common reasons people switch to Better Band. Traditional loop bands require you to step into them, which is genuinely difficult or risky if your balance, joints, or mobility make that move uncomfortable. Better Band clips on and off instead. No stepping in, no balancing on one leg to pull a band up your thigh. Just clip it on where you need it.
Why Better Band Is Different
Why is the Better Band "better"?
Three things. It clips on and off instead of requiring you to step into a loop, which makes it faster and safer to use. It adjusts in length, so one band fits a wider range of exercises and bodies instead of forcing you to own several. And it's built from materials that don't roll, pinch, slip, or tear the way most fabric and rubber bands do.
Quality is the single most common thing customers mention in reviews, more than any other factor. It's not a flashy claim. It's a durability one, and it's the one that holds up over time.
Is this actually different from a regular loop band, or is that just marketing?
Fair question. Regular mini loop bands (the kind you step into) are known for a specific set of problems: they roll up mid-set, they pinch skin, and they can snap or tear with regular use. Better Band's clip-on design removes the stepping-in step entirely, and the fabric doesn't roll the way rubber loops do. That's a mechanical difference, not a marketing one. You can see it in action on our YouTube channel.
Will it roll up or slide during my workout?
No. That's the specific problem the flat fabric design and clip mechanism were built to solve. It's also the single most repeated compliment we get in reviews.
I've bought bands before that ended up in a drawer. What makes this different?
Most bands end up unused for one of three reasons: they're uncomfortable, they don't fit right, or they're annoying enough to put on that you stop bothering. Better Band was built to remove all three. It clips on in seconds, it adjusts to fit instead of forcing you to guess a size, and it doesn't pinch or roll during use. It's not a promise that you'll suddenly love working out. It's a tool built so the tool isn't the reason you stop.
Materials, Durability & Care
What material is the Better Band hook made from?
A strong metal alloy, tested past 400 lbs of pull strength. It's built to hold up under real resistance, not just light stretching.
How do I adjust the length?
Each Better Band has adjustment loops built in, so you can shorten or lengthen it depending on the exercise and your body. This is what lets one band cover a much wider range of use than a fixed-length loop band. If you want to see it in action, our YouTube channel has demos.
How do I clean my Better Band?
Wipe it down with a damp cloth after use, especially if you're using it during a sweaty workout. Let it air dry fully before storing it clipped or coiled. Avoid submerging it or running it through the washing machine, since that can affect the fabric and the metal hook over time.
How long should a Better Band last?
With normal use, well past a typical mini band. The most common thing we hear in reviews is that customers are surprised by how sturdy it is compared to what they've owned before. If yours ever fails under normal use, that's covered. See the guarantee below.
Move Bands & Moball
What are Move Bands, exactly?
Large loop bands, 41 inches around, anchored to something else rather than worn. Used for pull-up assistance (including your first pull-up), full-body strength work, mobility, and travel workouts. They pack flat, so they're an easy way to keep training on the road.
Which Move Band resistance should I start with?
If you've never done resistance band training, start with the lightest. If you're adding resistance to bodyweight squats and rows you already do, start with the medium. If you're working toward your first pull-up, start with the heaviest you can control through a full rep.
What materials are the Moball Roller balls made out of? How firm are they?
Firm to very firm for a foam roller. They're made of resilient, lightweight EVA foam, close in feel to a lacrosse ball but with a slight give, similar to memory foam.
What's the Moball Roller actually good for?
It's shaped and designed specifically for how the body is built, not a generic cylinder. It targets the back, neck, hip flexors, calves, chest, and quads, and it's useful for mobilizing spinal joints and active stretching, not just rolling out sore muscles. Full demos are on our YouTube channel.
